French performance blood
With Master de Menardiere, we can offer you a sire with selected French performance blood. Master de Menardiere presented himself as a jumping specialist in a fantastic large and elegant format. A very modern, large-framed type, he displayed some top-class jumping. At the age of seven, Master de Menardiere was discovered in Paris by Andreas Brünz. The pair got used to each other quickly and put itself into the limelight with a first and second place at the CSI Donaueschingen. By 2011, the amateur rider and his stallion had gathered 12 wins and 74 placings in S*-S*** classes at national and international shows. With Hans-Dieter Dreher taking over the reins in 2012, Master de Menardiere mastered his first steps into the equestrian champions league with flying colours. Victory in the final test of the Baden-Württemberg Championship, 2nd place at the CSI*** Pforzheim and CSI-W Stuttgart and victory in the grand prix of the CSI*** Chevenez. In 2013, Master de Menardiere and Hansi Dreher continued their winning streak at the major international shows of Mannheim, Balve and Aachen and gained many front placings at the CSIs in Offenburg, Rotterdam and Albführen. Unfortunately, Master de Menardiere died before his time in 2014.
Sire: Under the saddle of Laurent Goffinet (FRA), the little show jumping genius Flipper d’Elle successfully participated in international show jumping classes for several years (GP victories in Bremen and Saint-Lo, Nations Cup winner in Gijon). Thanks to his successful offspring both in show jumping and eventing, Flipper d’Elle ranks among the French sires with the highest winnings. Via Double Espoir, one of the most impressive sires of France, he is directly connected to the stallion of a century Ibrahim, who can be found three times in total in Master de Menardiere’s pedigree. In his dam line, a number of excellent sires such as Jalisco B, Almé and Uriel can be found.
Dam: Apart from Master de Menardiere, Erika de Cuves also produced Omega De Menardiere by Hermes d’Authieux, who is successful in top-level show jumping. Her sire, the halfbred Iris Landai, provided France with the licensed stallion Astus des Bois as well as a large number of successful stallion dams. Erica de Cuves’ half-sister Oeuillet de France produced the A.E.S. licensed grand prix winner Golisco Louvriere. Further SF licensed stallions out of Iris Landai dams are Edelf Bauchetiere, Numano du Veret, Opodium de Vivier and Espoir Breceen.

With Master de Menardiere being primarily used for competition sport, his use in breeding was limited and restricted to a few mares only. The foals resulting from these few coverings presented themselves as well-developed and well-proportioned animals with a beautiful appearance. The first four-year-olds have already been successful in tests for young show jumping horses. In 2015, the colt “Meilenstein” was celebrated winner at the Marbach show.
