Holstein performance blood, impressive in appearance
The snow-white Coronino by Corofino / Fra Diavolo descends from the legendary Holstein dam line 730B. At the stallion selection in Neumünster in 1997, he was the first licensed son of Corofino that was awarded as a premium stallion straightaway. He is of great quality in type as well as in movement. Modern, light-footed and impressive in appearance, he shows enormous dynamics in trot and a superb gallop. Thanks to his jumping ability, best bascule and excellent technique, he won the jumping part at the stallion performance test in Münster-Handorf in 1999. His excellent rideability, great scope and personality fills the heart of breeders and athletes with joy. In addition to his breeding activity, Coronino is presented successfully in show jumping. After several wins and placings in A- to M-level jumping competitions for young horses, he was successful in higher classes, such as the 2nd and 3rd place at the CSI German Classics Hanover in 2007.
Sire: Corofino (stem 318D) descends from star sire Corrado I, who was successfully jumping the international circuit with his rider Franke Sloothaak, e.g. winner of the Grand Prix Aachen and several Wolrd Cup Qualifiers. He produced numerous international winners, such as Coriano, Clinton and Indorado, to mention only a few. His sire Cor de la Bryère provides him with the desired blood. Corofino's dam is the half-sister of Coriano Z and descends from Fernando / Lord / Ramiro. Corofino himself already impressed his audience at the stallion performance test in Medingen in 1992, where he got the rare score 10,0 for his jumping. After a successful career under Bo Kristoffersen up to advanced classes, he was sold to Italy where he won a lot of international competitions ridden by Valerio Sozzi. Among his progeny are international winners, such as Russel, Chatman, Corofina, Capriola and many more.
Dam: The Fra Diavolo / Cor de La Bryère mare Nienburg I from the stem 730B traces back to the daughter of Frivol, Virginia, foundation / bloodline mare of one of world's most successful breeders, Hans Werner Ritters. Nienburg I, reserve champion at the age of 3, is an extremely successful and fertile brood mare. She already had a lot of foals, among them state premium mares and sports horses that are victorious in advanced level jumping competitions. Her daughter Candida produced the licensed stallion Lentigo, Vatania is the granddam of the stallion Carvallo, Echse is dam of the stallion Cefalo and of the eventing horse Marius, who won team as well as individual gold at the Olympics 2008.

The offspring of Coronino are willing, upright and show a significant freedom of shoulder movement. They have presented themselves very well as winning foals at championships and foals awarded with premium and gold to numerous breeding associations.
His offspring have also attracted attention in the jumping sport: There are winners of the Bundeschampionat as well as winners of competitions in S***, e.g. Corrado, who was ranked 45th of the most successful jumping horses of Germany in 2010. Daughters of Coronino are extremely popular in breeding. Cora, for example, is the dam of the licensed Contifex, who was sold at the PSI-Auction in 2008 and is now competing successfully on international level with Denis Lynch.
