Description:

A top-class athlete, whose type and origin feature a strong thoroughbred influence. Displaying an excellent technique, great caution and a lot of scope, Ouessant de Perhet makes a lasting impression when jumping. His outstanding willingness to work and his great courage helped him gain many wins and placings at advanced (S) level. In 2015, he also obtained many international wins and placings with his rider Philippe Putallaz, including a victory at the CSI Geneva.
Sire: Quidam de Revel is a stallion of superlatives, a legend already during his lifetime, and both as a show jumper and top class sire at that. In 1982, he won bronze at the Olympic Games in Barcelona with the French team, ridden by Herve Godignon. Today, Quidam de Revel is considered as “Chef du Race Mondial ” just like his grandsire Almé and his sire Jalisco B, for he carried the Selle Francais blood into the breeds of the world. His descendants have won more than 2 million euros in Germany alone, and more than 50 sons have been licensed. At the 2002 World Championships in Jerez, no other stallion could boast more offspring than Quidam de Revel.
Dam: Utica du Puits produced 14 offspring, all of which successfully competed, some up to grand prix level. Her sire, Muguet du Manoir, is descended from a very successful line and is a very popular dam's sire in France. His dam, Camera by Rantzau xx, half-sister of the famous Flambeau C, also produced the stallion Alcamera de Moyen, who was exported to Alfonso Romo, Mexico, as well as many stallion dams and highly successful sport horses (Orchestre and Valiska Clémence, both CSIO). Utica du Puits’ dam line also provided a large number of stallions and sport horses. This line is connected to the influential thoroughbred St. Brendan, who had a significant influence on French show jumper breeding.
