About Pilotdino

The performance of his offspring makes him a top sire.
Pilotdino is licensed in Westphalia and Baden-Württemberg and champion of his age group at the stallion selection in Switzerland. Through his offspring that are sought after and draw attention in show jumping as well as in dressage, he is getting more and more a topic of conversation as a top sire.
His excellent performance, as well as the performance on his sire's and dam's side, make him an exceptional stallion. Pilotdino's jumping ability with an excellent technique, his rideability and attitude in the course helped him to over 60 winnings and many placings in national and international show jumping competitions up to advanced (S) class. One of those successes was the vice champion at the Southern German show jumping Championship 2006 and winning the qualifier of the Baden-würrtemberg Championship.

Sire: The state stud stallion Pinocchio was the first son of Pilot who represented his sire in breeding already in the 80s. Then, 79 licensed sons of the Westphalian star sire Pilot followed. Those and more progeny made him one of the most important sports horse sires of Germany.

Dam: Dina x must be considered as breeding highlight. Breeding highlight, because her breeder Wilhelm Spreen-Segelhorst from Ostwestfalen breed from the same mare line the Westphalian stallions of the century Frühlingstraum I and II, as well as the former top show jumper Minister under Norbert Koof.

Breeder: Wilhelm Spreen-Segelhorst, D-Rahden
Owner: Dr. Carmen Vogt, D-Eimeldingen

Approved for: Westphalia, Southern German associations, Cheval Suisse, ZVCH (EDB)

Stud Fee: Euro 200 and Euro 300, if the mare is certified in foal by October 1st.

Issues:

Progeny

Pilotdino's offspring are typey, have good moevments and a scopey jump. Under the saddle, they are easy-to-handle, … and inspire with their versatile talents and good attitude.
In 2011, his son Petit Prince GG won 8 international show jumping competitions, 2 of them in Aachen. He was placed several times in Grand Prix and awarded Westphalian horse of the month in August 2011.
His offspring were long-legged, with noble facial expressions and energetic movements. They drew a lot of attention at international Foal Championships, where they were awarded premium and got excellent placings. His first approved son, Tenor d’Arioso, who is also standing at our stud, shows enormous ability and an excellent overview at the jump.
